USAP Goals

Each USAP facility will serve as a drug-free safe haven where students could learn and improve on their talents with the help of skilled mentors. The programming will be a fun and effective introduction to the basics of multiple sports: skills, etiquette, rules and play.
Interaction and inclusion of youth of all ages, ethnicities, and social-economic backgrounds are targeted. Capturing the attention of the youth and engaging them in athletic activities is a hot topic now. Youth obesity is at an all-time high; however, with the installation of these facilities complete with built in programming, is one way to curb the trend of inactivity among young people.
A key element to the success of each project is the aspect of mentoring. This is how the program will thrive and keep the youth engaged.
Famous sports icons from the Legends network will help promote this at each site. The additional mentoring benefits such as teamwork, integrity, and hard work will enhance the self-esteem of the local youth by leading by example and simply giving them a chance to participate.
The facility would team with local charities such as the Boys and Girls Clubs, YMCAs, and Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) to establish mentoring programs.
Some of the partners in USAP have formal grant programs such as the USGA which awards more than $5 million per year for worthy programs. USAP can help each client develop a celebrity golf fundraising tournament through the partnership with the Legends (a well run golf tournament can net in excess of $100,000).
USAP and the Legends network are creating proprietary products such as: autograph collectibles and rare sports memorabilia that will be graded and authenticated by a leading national collectible authority, Global Authentication (GAI), and will be auctioned to create in excess of $1 million of matching grants for USAP clients in 2007.
USAP will be hosting a major celebrity golf fundraising event at Arnold Palmers Bay Hill Golf Resort in Orlando, Florida every year that should attract large corporate and foundation sponsorships.
